WCW kicks off 2001 with WCW Thunder and the show was terrible. With Nitro being off the air you'd think WCW would put some extra effort into Thunder (they've got very little time left to build towards WCW Sin) but unfortunately they didn't put on a good show at all. It's little wonder the company out be out of business in a few months time.
Matches include Mike Awesome vs Jim Duggan, Buff Bagwell vs Dewayne Bruce, Sugar Shane Helms vs Jamie Noble, and Jeff Jarrett fighting for his spot in the WCW Sin main event against Sid Vicious.
