Fiiiinally, after almost 3 months since my last Metroid cover (Ridleys Theme), I got the time to round out my series of epic, cinematic, Metroid piano covers with the song that, IMO, has the best bassline and atmosphere in all video game music history in one of the best video games of all time: the ominous prologue from Super Metroid for the SNES! Why I decided to put two-handed octave runs, I will never know o_0
This should conclude the series of Advanced Metroid covers (along with the Prime main theme, Kraids Lair, Brinstar, and Ridleys Theme), if theres any Metroid songs you guys think I should cover, feel free to request them below, I always love me some good Metroid music ❤
P.S. Also, if youre still reading this, Im really considering putting all my Metroid covers together into an album to actually release with a VGM label o_0 Would you guys be interested in it?

This is my first time playing something from the Final Fantasy Piano Operas, and man was it a doozy to perform! At first I wanted to try out Liberi Fatali, but once I saw the crazy fast arpeggios and scales of this classic song, I knew I had to go try it out. It was a lot of fun to do, so I hope yall enjoy my performance of the Gilgamesh battle theme Clash on the Big Bridge from Final Fantasy V!

I forget why I wanted to cover this track in the first place and why I had sheet music for this piece for so long, but after I saw that the newest contest theme for Pixel Mixers (https://www.reddit.com/r/VGCovers/) was RPGs, I knew it was time to crank out this lovely song that fits all the same feelz that Dearly Beloved does.
For this arrangement, I tried incorporate some elements of the original tune, some from the Concert Paraphrase on Dearly Beloved arrangement, and also some motifs and ideas from the gorgeous orchestral version from the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra World Tour to make one authoritative yet still simple and clean arrangement of this classic song from Kingdom Hearts. Heres to more Kingdom Hearts 3 hype :D

Hey look, Breath of the Wild is back o_0
So when I saw in the poll a while back that a bunch of you guys wanted Breath of the Wild back on the channel, I know I couldnt take no for an answer. So Ive been starting to get some BotW arrangements up to par to post for you guys in the coming weeks!
First of all, I wanted to start out with a remaster of a classic BotW tune, Talus Battle (or Steppe Talus as I called it in my original video of this song). I originally covered this a long time ago, back after the E3 2016 came out. However, I only had some crappy quality camera and VST equipment to use at that time, so I decided to revamp my cover with all my modern looks and sounds! Lemme know what you think of it!
More NEW Breath of the Wild piano covers are coming, so stay tuned! Sorry this one was late, had to make sure it was all set before we get back into another good era of BotW piano music :D

SUPER... SMAAAAAAASH BROTHEEEEERS!!!
Remember when I played the Smash Bros. Melee Opening about a year and a half ago and made a music video for it (if not, just check my channel trailer vid lol)? Well, another Pixel Mixers contest has come around where the theme was title themes, so I knew I just had to bust out another great Smash Bros. opening cover with a special video.
Im unironically a fan of Smash 64 since I have so many good childhood memories of playing this on the Nintendo 64 and since its such a fun game in the modern competitive scene (I main Kirby lol). I especially decided to do this theme since I could only find one other piano cover of this fast-paced opening (and it didnt have sheets ;-;), so I decided to give it some of that DS Music piano love :D Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

The prelude to the finale of a year of piano...
Over the course of this entire year of learning piano, Ive been sporadically attempting accomplish a goal I had set back in last summer: learn at least one song from every Final Fantasy game and/or Piano Collection and Piano Opera. Ive gotten close: So far Ive gotten a few from FFVII, one from FFV, FFIX, FFXI, FFXIII, FFXV, FFXIII, and FFXIII-2. Ive also had plans to continue with learning songs from the other games, since the OSTs from all the Final Fantasy games are all gorgeous in their own right, and I wanted to pay homage to the musical genius of Final Fantasy with this project. Hecc, I even wanted to open the next year of piano covers with Liberi Fatali (the opening to FFVIII) from the FFVII-IX Piano Opera.
However, it just doesnt seem like itll come to pass. My Final Fantasy videos always get mixed to negative results, and you guys seem to prefer watching piano covers from other games rather than FF. Dont get me wrong, thats completely understandable to me. Just with this in mind, I think this cover may be the last Final Fantasy thing Ill do for a long time.
While this may be the Prelude to Final Fantasy XIII (and no, its not the original prelude from the first FF :P), this mysterious, emotional, and grand piece gives off the vibe of the culmination of all the adventures experienced throughout the franchise. And so to end off my series of FF covers for the year, I thought that this song would be a fitting send off to a project that has taught me a lot as a pianist and as a musician over this year.
IDK how many of yall will bother to watch this video, and how few of those people will want to read this entire wall of text description, but thank yall to those few that stuck with me through every final fantastical piano cover Ive done (you know who you are :D).
But dont worry, this is only the penultimate video for the year, as the next video will be a grand finale that will hopefully blow all your feathers um ahem I mean socks off! Stay tuned!
