This session’s title comes with two meanings (to me). One being: To have a good time, so often is influenced greatly by our mindset. Tell yourself now’s a good time and chances are you’ll experience a good time. There’s power in mindset. And, life is meant to be spent mostly in Good Time mode, I’m pretty sure about that ;)
The deeper one: So often we have an idea or a wish and we say to ourselves something like “I would like to try this, but I’ll do it later, maybe when I have more time, more money, more whatever”. I think that’s fine for many ideas. With only so much time and energy in one lifetime, we simply can not go after every idea our mind throws at us. But then there are those ideas or things that seem to be truly important to us. Sometimes we know exactly what it is, sometimes we don’t, but we have the feeling that there is something different waiting to be explored. It might be something very personal, like the wish to live in a specific setup, style, place, community, or it might be more globally impactful, like designing and working for a needed positive impact in our neighborhood, community, city, company, or even society.
So often we find excuses to not live up to what’s truly inside us. There’s a lack of money, there’s other seemingly important stuff on the plate. It was the case last year, it’s the case this year, it will be the case next year, … now there’s Covid, and it will be here next year, too. So, what, wait? Sure, we can keep waiting until we dissolve into molecules again. Or, we start going for what this life truly holds for us, now. Because most likely, ‘NOW is a Good Time’.

My thought of the moment:
I called this week’s piano session: Interconnected. Different ideas come to my mind, when I think of connected or interconnected. What are your first thoughts? For me…
...I think of how much we humans and our actions on this planet became interconnected. A real global interconnection. I think of how we’re connected through the web, so I can create a tune and you can listen, or how we can exchange information and learn from or inspire each other. That’s an example of interconnected minds. Also I think of how industries became so strongly interconnected. With all its blessings and issues. Interconnected also means together.
So, it became “Interconnected”, but at first I wanted to call this one “We’re In This Together” (too long for a title?). Emphasizing that this special global (interconnected) situation is one we will live through together. We will, and we will do this like humans do. With respect, solidarity and love to our race. For each other.
I truly hope the music connects.

Music can be much more than just pure entertainment. It can be a meaningful soundtrack that accompanies us through a moment, through a day, a phase, or through life.
Many use my recordings and piano music sessions as background music while reading, doing mind work, to achieve better focus, while studying, while being creative, while coding or designing a product, a service or the world of tomorrow. From your comments I know that my music also works as relaxing music, spa or yoga music, or to set a calm tone at cafes, bars, lounges, in hotels and restaurants, mostly at a low volume.
