This video - youtube.com/watch?v=ldnEHycw40E - will reach one million views within hours. It was suddenly picked up by the idiosyncratic algorithm in 2021 and gained massive attention during a couple of weeks whereafter its "popularity" stagnated significantly. It will pass the magic milestone though. The present video, although much smoother, will probably never experience anything near that.

$Snowfall in a quantum snowflake In lack of own ideas I steal others. Recently Ive seen several cool videos showing waves propagating in a von Koch snowflake fractal, e.g. by @Maciej Matyka and @Nils Berglund. Plus a blizzard (in local measures) hit my geographical region today. The real space domain at which the snowflake fractal is defined has a resolution of 2000x2200. Herein a localised wave packet evolves. For the first half, a quite odd wave packet is used. Its a Gaussian clipped to be identically zero outside a specific radius. Upon evolving in time, this wave packet pushes out some high momentum states associated with the abrupt edge of the wave packet. Further, this part is plotted at a log scale. In the second half, an ordinary Gaussian wave packet evolves similarly. Music by @gpcbass. The song has been used in another video on this channel. The song is a reproduction of a song called Caramba which originates back to 1991, then performed by the eminent Swedish orchestra Svef Tarkel in which @gpcbass played the bass.$

$Rainbow colors from a light ray shining on water Demonstrated is how the colors of the rainbow emerge when a white light ray (sunlight) hits a spherical water drop, preceded by some basic concepts of optics such as Snells law of refraction, angle of refraction, total reflection, color (frequency/wavelength) dependent refractive indices, etc. The coefficient R used in the video is the intensity of the reflected ray found by the Fresnel equations for a mix of s- and p polarized light. The coefficient T is, by energy conservation, just 1-R. The beautiful music is provided by @gpcbass, and is specifically made for this video. It is called Spectrum.$
