This is a variation on an original piece by @dmbaturin now called "Two part-writing problems" (originally "Three-part") and distributed under a creative commons license. Daniil told me he set out to write the most possible "cliche" baroque piece he could think of. Despite his efforts, I heard something in his piece, but felt some things could be done a little differently and so I set out to create my own version of the piece which you can hear now. I also changed the title to that of a hymn. The title is from an existing hymn, but no attempt was made to make the music match with the words. The title only expresses a mood.
