Ryan Pitts came home from Afghanistan, bought a house, got married, had kids, and graduated from college.

By every visible measure, he was fine.

It took almost ten years for the weight to catch up.

He says PTSD, hyper-alertness, and depression are natural reactions to unnatural circumstances.

And he watched the culture firsthand:

Mental health professionals would show up after the casualties, and nobody would go talk to them.

Guys who took medication felt shame about it.

Ryan decided to call that out directly.
