The launch of the EBRD’s latest Regional Economic Prospects will be in panel discussion format at a special EBRD Annual Meeting 2026 session. The conversation will cover the latest economic forecasts for the regions where the Bank invests. EBRD Chief Economist Beata Javorcik and leading regional experts will discuss how escalating geopolitical tensions alter the economic outlook and reshape policy-making at a time when government finances are increasingly constrained and inflation concerns are resurfacing. The report will be published earlier in the week.
The event is open to all participants and questions from accredited journalists are welcome after the discussion.
