So it actually does save time to equip refund despite what this comparison video says. This video excludes the fact that you can skip the bush coin in the playground, the coin block after it, and the bush coin in koopa village, which probably saves 2-3 seconds and removes rng from those 2 bush coins, and 10 from fire bars.
