New neighbor may have boundary issues

This Red-tailed Hawk recently stopped by a downtown Austin condo for some casual recon.

Hawks and other birds of prey sometimes hang out in cities because there’s plenty to snack on like rats and mice (or pigeons, if you're a Peregrine Falcon).

Some are just migrating through, but others decide that city life is good enough to start a family.
