This is my part for Blueberry Crossovers' birthday MEP: "Wanna be your slave". Happy birthday!

Ok, so I'm fully aware that Odette looks REALLY shallow here, with her choosing a dude who gives her a goddamn gold necklace, but keep in mind! Derek is a prince, so obviously she's not choosing Thrax based on money... not REALLY. Let me explain;
This actually takes place in the same story as my Self Control video (link below) Essentially the story is that Odette is the future queen of an extremely poor kingdom and she must therefore find a rich suitor to take care of her people, hence why she is betrothed to Derek. But, big shock, she's actually in love with Thrax, a... demon? Alien? Or they live in a world where fantasy creatures also exist like centaurs, mermaids, etc. I don't know that yet. Obviously, he's unhappy, but understands that she has a duty to her people whom she loves and they love her. Even though nothing is said out loud, Odette's people are aware that she's sacrificing herself for them. So because Thrax is... what he is, he figures out a way to MAKE gold hence the necklace. It's a symbol that he can now provide for Odette's people so she can choose him with good conscience! So that's what she does and, of course, her people couldn't be happier for them. And as usual, Derek has his fiance stolen from him, this is the second time I'm doing this to him xD

*sigh* Finally, I am truly BACK! With a proper (non)Disney crossover video as usual! Except... I am very much insecure about this video... As you all might already be aware, I took an unofficial, subconscious hiatus after MxDisney 2024 due to some burnout from that, but also because I was starting yet another education and moving in at a new house with my mother, my five birds and her dog. A lot was happening, especially with my new education as an acupuncturist, so editing became a non-existing element in my life... for over a year. Ive been making (non)Disney crossover videos for well over a decade, 16 years to be exact, and that was the longest I have ever gone without editing anything at all. I fell rusty... SUPER rusty... and I was second-guessing so many things while making this video.
Truth be told, I have no idea if this video is actually good or not. I look at it, and like what Ive done, but I have no idea if this is... below my usual quality so to speak??? That might sound silly, but when you havent done something for a long time, its kinda nerve-wracking to get back into it. I also wound up changing my mind about several elements in this story; it went from a comedy horror of Jasmine killing a bunch of female suitors hoping to win Christophers favor, of her killing Cinderella, her killing Ariel, her writing a fake note as Christopher to make Ariel think hes leaving her to... well, this. Jasmine being jealous that Ariel has gotten Christophers attention so she just... takes him herself lol. I liked using some color symbolism here, with Jasmine wearing green while her entire world is just devoid of color... until Christopher becomes hers. Then theres suddenly color in the world lol. It was fun to add some color theory in this, even if it was a very basic color theory.
ANYWAY... I have more Charmine videos planned and also a Thraxette one so... stay tuned! Thank you to everyone who patiently waited for me to come back. It means more than you think 💜

Hey dudes, dudettes and dudles!
Yet another concept video of mine though this one is very different from the one with Quasimodo and Belle. In the Quaselle video, I wanted to put two different scenes together to see how they would potentially look together before MAYBE committing to editing it properly.
This Thraxette video however is more a reflection of a story for them that I had a slight idea for months ago, but suddenly came crashing at me this past week, while I also stumbled across some of my own old videos where I used this song.
You cant see any of that Thraxette story here in this video, BUT just to give an idea what its about: Thraxs alien species is known for plundering whichever planet they set their eyes on and will take whatever they want or believe they need. During their attack on Earth, Thrax meets Odette and decides shes his loot this time and brings her onboard the space ship. This is, however, NOT a normal thing they do and his fellow travelers are shocked when they eventually find Odette, whom Thrax has hidden in his quarters on the ship. Thinking fast, Thrax says he intends to bring her to their leader due to her being a princess - reality is he just took her the same way he has stolen so many things before without a care in the world.
This scene here I imagine is at a type of celebration where Odette is sort of bullied into singing for them all, basically shes just there to entertain them and they all assume they wont like her singing cause shes a human and whats good singing for them is probably not the same for Thraxs species. Basically shes just thrown on the stage to mock her, but when she starts singing, people quiet down - including Thrax and he realizes to his horror that he is starting to care for the Earthling princess.

Just as a friendly reminder: A concept video is that this video, in comparison to my usual WIPs and previews, is not a work in progress or a future video - its simply me experimenting with these two characters and doing very bare bones editing. Literally just an experiment.
I needed a break from editing my first round for @MxDisney and I just saw that annapantsu and chloebreez uploaded a cover of Loser, baby from Hazbin Hotel and I just HAD to do it with Hollina.
Now, some of you may be thinking... why the Hell is Holli not the one acting as Angel Dust? I have a few reasons for that... first of all, Thumbelina canonically is naive and gullible. She gets taken advantage of multiple times in her movie by multiple people as well. Shes also easily affected by other people and how they perceive her, whereas Holli does whatever pleases her. I can much easier imagine Lina getting tricked by a person like Valentino and end up in the same situation as Angel Dust.
Also, as much as I dont Lina is a perfect fit for Angel Dust, casting her as Husk is far more unhinged in my opinion, so thats also why xD

So Ive had an absolutely terrible week. Its peak at my job right now, which means were getting A LOT of customers and its call after call after call with practically no break in-between. Friday morning, I finally cracked. Got to work, had my first call - was a really easy one, only took 2 minutes - and I started sobbing my eyes out right after. Thankfully my manager is an absolute peach, spent 30 minutes talking to me and calming me down before insisting I start my weekend early. She also made sure to show me my KPIs, which are basically statistics measuring my work in different ways and she told me, despite my current complete meltdown, that I had been doing extremely well this week. She just wanted to make sure that I didnt, on top of the stress, think I was doing a bad job, which Im thankful for.
So, what to do when you had an emotional breakdown at work? You edit with your newest ship! Which in my case is Belle and Quasimodo aka Quaselle. I decided to drop a manip I had planned where I would have to switch which one of Quasimodos eyes is the one with the lump due to perspective, but I decided to drop it cause my brain just wasnt having it right now after this week. Ive saved my process so I can continue it some other time, but I decided to skip it and do something else for this video xD
So story time! Belle is marrying Gaston because she makes bad choices - we all do, Belle, its ok - but during the ceremony, Belle notices Quasimodo watching them and remembers she has a major crush on him because he likes birds and she likes birds, we all know this. Some of the church goers decide to go BEGONE SATAN to Quasimodo because hes considered an abomination (you can thank Frollo for that one) and he runs off, but Belle pulls a runaway bride and follows him up the stairs - dont ask me how she caught up with him so fast wearing those heels. They smile at each other, understanding how the other feels without even having to say the words and they brace themselves for the inevitable clusterfuck the church is going to pull on them.
... In case you didnt believe that my brain is mush that story explanation is your proof.
