Hey dudes, dudettes and dudles!
Just as a friendly reminder: A concept video is that this video, in comparison to my usual WIPs and previews, is not a work in progress or a future video - it's simply me experimenting with these two characters and doing very bare bones editing. Literally just an experiment.
I needed a break from editing my first round for @MxDisney and I just saw that annapantsu and chloebreez uploaded a cover of "Loser, baby" from Hazbin Hotel and I just HAD to do it with Hollina.
Now, some of you may be thinking... why the Hell is Holli not the one acting as Angel Dust? I have a few reasons for that... first of all, Thumbelina canonically is naive and gullible. She gets taken advantage of multiple times in her movie by multiple people as well. She's also easily affected by other people and how they perceive her, whereas Holli does whatever pleases her. I can much easier imagine Lina getting tricked by a person like Valentino and end up in the same situation as Angel Dust.
Also, as much as I don't Lina is a perfect fit for Angel Dust, casting her as Husk is far more unhinged in my opinion, so that's also why xD

So Ive had an absolutely terrible week. Its peak at my job right now, which means were getting A LOT of customers and its call after call after call with practically no break in-between. Friday morning, I finally cracked. Got to work, had my first call - was a really easy one, only took 2 minutes - and I started sobbing my eyes out right after. Thankfully my manager is an absolute peach, spent 30 minutes talking to me and calming me down before insisting I start my weekend early. She also made sure to show me my KPIs, which are basically statistics measuring my work in different ways and she told me, despite my current complete meltdown, that I had been doing extremely well this week. She just wanted to make sure that I didnt, on top of the stress, think I was doing a bad job, which Im thankful for.
So, what to do when you had an emotional breakdown at work? You edit with your newest ship! Which in my case is Belle and Quasimodo aka Quaselle. I decided to drop a manip I had planned where I would have to switch which one of Quasimodos eyes is the one with the lump due to perspective, but I decided to drop it cause my brain just wasnt having it right now after this week. Ive saved my process so I can continue it some other time, but I decided to skip it and do something else for this video xD
So story time! Belle is marrying Gaston because she makes bad choices - we all do, Belle, its ok - but during the ceremony, Belle notices Quasimodo watching them and remembers she has a major crush on him because he likes birds and she likes birds, we all know this. Some of the church goers decide to go BEGONE SATAN to Quasimodo because hes considered an abomination (you can thank Frollo for that one) and he runs off, but Belle pulls a runaway bride and follows him up the stairs - dont ask me how she caught up with him so fast wearing those heels. They smile at each other, understanding how the other feels without even having to say the words and they brace themselves for the inevitable clusterfuck the church is going to pull on them.
... In case you didnt believe that my brain is mush that story explanation is your proof.

Yes, of course I ship VeroVel. If youre surprised, do you even know me??? Theres no real story here as such except I do have a teeny tiny small idea for how these two would even meet... just a tiny little AU, I promise 👀
My VeroVel AU: Despite what you might think when Verosika just started in the pop star industry, she was not the confident goddess she is now. No, she was kinda shy. Can you believe it? No? Well, too bad, cause thats what she was in my AU. So, once shes become very successful, she meets Velvette, one of the Vees and the QUEEN of fashion and social media in Hell, who immediately teases her with how shy Verosika was before her success. Oh, Im so shy! My big tits makes me so shy! yadda-yadda-yadda and Verosika is NOT having that! So she walks straight up to Velvette and hits on her HARD. Velvette is taken aback at first, but it doesnt take her long before she catches onto Verosikas little game and a flirty, sexually-charged frenemy relationship begins. Including Verosika mocking Velvette for trying to embarrass Verosika back when they first met, only for it to bite her in the ass later... well, Velvette is happy as long as Verosika is the one biting her ass.
See? I told you it was a short AU! Definitely dont have a document dedicated to notes about this AU. Nope.

Would you guys believe me if I said it wasnt my intention to have both my parts for this MEP to be centered around a painting prank...? Because I actually didnt realize it until an hour ago, SOMEHOW xD Not much else to say, Odette is just princess of pranks and Thrax takes it very well, even having a tiny bit of revenge by flicking some paint at her. Hey, at least she used paint that would come off within seconds, thats gotta count for something!
Actually you could see this as a Beauty and the Beast moment... I used backgrounds from the place Odette was kidnapped too after all - but instead its Thrax who kidnapped her, and not Rothbart, and instead of a snow ball fight, Odette just throws paint at her beast xD

Heres a repost from my Holidays video from 2022. Some of you have been asking where Ive been and truth is plain and simply that a lot has been going on in my life right now, especially during fall. I went from unemployed to starting a new education (as an acupuncturist), I traveled to London to meet my online friend @CrystalKH irl for the first time (and we had a golly good time lol check out her channel 🥰) I moved from a one room house to a four room house. Theres been some health stuff too and yadda-yadda-yadda, a lot has been going on.
Things have mostly been settled down, so Im hoping to get back to editing it the new year. For now, I hope some reposts will be enough to convince you you havent gotten rid of me yet 😈
