When I hit 20 thousand words in my NaNoWriMo story I also realized I had yet to redeem any of the rewards I had set in place to motivate myself. Today, I remedied that situation. I got myself out of the house, ate breakfast at Snooze (amazing!) and bought a ton of books at Barnes and Nobel (only two were for me, the others are going to be Christmas gifts!)
My hope is that once my test is done tomorrow I will have a lot more mental space to focus on my NaNo story and push past this section that has been making me so nervous. As always, we shall see :/
