Mokaygee | Red Pikmin Only: #2 Ionium Jet Collected @Mokaygee | Uploaded July 2017 | Updated October 2024, 14 hours ago.
With the collection of this part, every part can now be collected without any blue pikmin or even discovering the blue onion at all.
This one was troublesome, if only for the seemingly heavy time requirement. To move ionium jets any distance normally is an arduous slow and disheartening process.
With the discovery of my new trick, I have been able to collect both jets red only. Moreover, I have collected all parts in distant spring, and all parts that normally require blue pikmin.
As awkward as this part was, I was able to quickly find ways around it. You can actually get more than enough reds across the water in just one trip if you don't mind a few deaths. Also, this one was easier than IJ1 since the spot to do the waypoint displacement was very close by.
After the part waypoint-reset to the pilot seat's location, it was a simple matter of pushing the part through the wall to finish up.
By the way, I promise ADF is possible, I just haven't gotten it on recording yet. Setting it up is also a very boring process. Proof soon. The final parts without proof are the Guard Satellite and the safe. 28/30.
