The roads on the east side of Manchester is currently being modified with tram tracks for the Metrolink extension.
This junction has had roadworks here for around 6 months, without change to their layout... until lately!
Surprised by the change, I accidentally jumped a red light...
I'm thoroughly disappointed with myself because as a rule, I don't go through red lights.
I think my reaction says it all!
I see far too many cyclists jumping red lights, and it annoys me every time.
For every cyclist who jumps a red light, it's an excuse for some dick in a car to excuse their bad driving, or an internet troll to make sweeping statements about 'all cyclists' ... as if two wrongs make a right.
