Story:
Pretty canon. Typical Roy x Jade cat and mousey games. With drinking (vodka) and sex and developing feelings for each other. Mostly lust, but still. In case you can't tell, toward the end, he tries to capture her and bring her to justice like the good guy he is (trying to make up for sleeping with her before), and the two take their stances, but change their minds, and Roy tries to take the high road and run off, but she isn't having that.
Editor's Note:
This song is certainly not my usual style, but I heard Cheshire in it, the playful nature of the song. It shows how well she contrasts with Red Arrow, something I love about their relationship. I also can't resist the opportunity to allude to sex when it comes to songs for these two. I'm nervous about this video and proud of it at the same time. I didn't want to overload it with text or sparkles or flashes for the beats toward the end, so I did everything in moderation, particularly the text.
Message for the birthday girl:
I never know what to write in these things. Like I told you on Facebook, I can only hope this video will make you smile and make your day that much better. You're the sweetest person, a fantastic editor, and even though you're younger than I am, someone I look up to and admire. You're one of my favorite editors and one of my very best friends. I hope you had a wonderful birthday! And I love you like your present too. :) I love you girly!

My entry in Round 1 of MissDoonaQueens awesome tournament. Im really excited to be a part of this, but so nervous.
I picked this song out of the three options for my Group (#6), because it was beautiful and I was inspired when I heard this lovely cover, and immediately thought of Katara and Aang, with the lyrics being all her point of view. The song is their relationship, before and after he dies. (Yes, I killed Aang. Or, well, Azula did. Dont hate! xD) The latter half of the video is Katara dealing with the memories of them together, trying to block him out. He is there with her in spirit, but she is not hallucinating, not seeing him, per se. Its more of his presence not leaving her alone.
I want to thank Paula (computer0addict) for her unwavering support and confidence through the making of this video. Her kind messages are the reason I was able to finish this.
This was not easy to make, mostly because of my constant need to match all the pronouns in my clips. This made the kiss-and-leave scene more difficult than it needed to be, what with all the arranging I had to do, but I am extremely proud of the result, even if I am not sure how I feel about the video as a whole. Regardless, this song is great for them and Im so glad for the opportunity to have made it.

I know you love this show, and when I couldn’t edit Ladybug because I wasn’t caught up, I immediately turned to this. I wanted to edit Lelouch and Shirley and I love this song so I hope you do too. I know it’s on the angsty/feelsy side – consider it payback for the feels trip that was your present to me last year. (jk, you know I love the angst!)

Hello everyone! It has been a while since my last post. Numerous factors from illness to hard drive failure have kept me away all summer. I am feeling much better and working on getting my footage back with the help of some other kind editors. However, I will be going on another hiatus, though this one of different because it’s official, won’t last as long as the unintentional one I just took, and will include the rest of the MEP parts I hadn’t posted yet as I work on remaking the videos I was making previously. This will include a Soukoku video, my You Pick I Vids, as well as a few more anime tributes. For the rest of the year, I hope to focus mostly on longer videos so I won’t join as many MEPs. I appreciate everyone for sticking with me. I even gained subscribers will I was away and am almost at 1k. I have special videos planned for 700-900 subs I still hope to post.
As for this video, the theme was characters with mental illness so I picked Dazai with a focus on suicidal ideation. I actually had a video planned out for September, as it’s Suicide Prevention Month, but this will have to do for this year. I made this part back in March, I think. I’ve looked forward to posting it. The masking was fun and sad and I want to do more effects like that, as I’ve been watching videos with different background colors. Anyway, this is showcasing Dazai’s life I the ADA in comparison to the Mafia, the potential for happiness, but being unable to feel it for long, and past Mafia ‘spirits’ haunting him: Oda’s death and Ango’s betrayal.

This is my entry for the second round of Beta Wars. I was very happy with the song I was given this round, and enjoyed editing most of this, although the inspiration died a little toward the end and I wished the audio sample was twenty seconds shorter. I want to apologize again for the ridiculously long time it took me to finish this.

I tried to incorporate the story of Hiyori losing her memories toward the end of the video, around when Nora shows up, but I’m not sure how well I did that, especially for those who haven’t seen the show. I hope it makes sense regardless, as it’s mostly their relationship and the things that separate them. They do have a few moments together in the video, though I wanted to focus mostly on distance and inaccessibility, referring to the title of the song. They are a ‘mystery’ to each other. /fails at being clever.

For Week Four of Livs Inspiration Challenge. I wanted an excuse to edit with this overused song and she gave to me. Everyone go participate if you can!

I think I forgot how much work it is to edit a full length video! It was so much work, but Im proud of the result and excited to share with everyone.
This is mostly from Rins point of view, though there is a POV change in the last chorus. I gravitate toward Rin for some reason, although I think my personality is more similar to Harus. This song was Rins song, and I wasnt expecting Haru to steal it at the end, but he does.
I focused hard on matching the pronouns, so I hope the storyline is easy to follow. I wanted to focus on Rins perception of his relationship with Haru, as friends, rivals, swimmers . . . The first part is angsty and angry, with Rin brooding over his win the first time he raced Haru after getting back to Japan. It wasnt what he expected and he wants something else out of his future victory, a sense of pride and satisfaction that he feels he deserves that Haru is keeping from him.
The second verse was what made me edit almost the entire song I wanted to show something different in what is otherwise a sad, angsty song. Rin being an egotistical jerk. He looks back on his time his former team as a disgrace, a joke. He was just settling for hanging out with them because he had nothing better to do, didnt know any better. And now, back from Australia and finding his match in a new swim team, Rin has found where he belongs. And he looks down on Haru for wasting his potential.
NOTES:
I figure there might be some protest of the lets go get high line. I wanted to include it, and I feel like its not too much to think Rin might see that as something recreational. I wanted the scene to come across as sweet, like hes inviting Haru back into his life. I do not mean for it to be interpreted as bad or out of character for Rin.
Please, no comments about using a girl song or something. I did actually want to use a male cover, but none of them sounded right to me or had that mocking, double-sided, or angsty sound I wanted. I went with this one, and am glad for it. I also dont think songs sung by women should be limited to female characters.
Have I mentioned how much I love these two? This show? I was avoiding it for the longest time, no even trying too hard, and then Tasha posted her wonderful Harin/Rin video, and I gave in and watched the first episode and fell in love.
