Since the overarching theme of The Breakfast Club movie is that we all have more in common than we think, I decided to combine aspects from all of the characters with my own personality to create a look inspired by all of us - using cosmetics and clothing that I already own. The product and application choices for this "Get Ready With Me" were all inspired by the characters and styling in the movie, which was not just fun – it was educational. Did you realize that Molly Ringwald's character Claire was wearing the oh-so-viral "Black Honey" lipstick in her iconic "lipstick scene" of the movie? And Ally Sheedy's character Allison had the look that inspired the styling for "Eden" in the Netflix series "Stranger Things". So there's a lot to learn from classic movies when it comes to makeup and styling. Now, if only the Physicians Formula The Breakfast Club Collection had been released when this was filmed! 😂
