Makeup no buy + project pans = 🤯
I didn't purchase any makeup this year due to my low buy and, on top of that, I began doing project pans. The combination was quite revealing, teaching me so much about my makeup usage and preferences. And now that I have seen how long it takes me to use up cosmetics and have realized that there are certain products I no longer reach for, I've decided that I want to downsize my makeup collection.
Especially because I will see friends and family over the holidays. Some of the makeup I am getting rid of is beautiful – it's just not my color, doesn't suit my preferences, or is too similar to another product I own. So I am looking forward to giving these beautiful things to people who will enjoy them in ways I can't.
This is just a preliminary pass-through because I don't have time to dive head-first into a full-collection makeup declutter right now. But my goal in the new year is to curate an elegant edit of beautiful cosmetics, so I will be doing a lot of product comparisons and declutters in the first half of the year.
