Mansi Makes | Recovering from Mistakes on a Gel Plate @MansiMakes | Uploaded March 2021 | Updated October 2024, 7 hours ago.
I share the most common frustrations that folks face when starting out with a gel plate and how, even after you've tried everything that should make the print work for you, it still doesn't! It's frustrating, to say the least.
But there's a way past it. I use gilding flakes in this video along with some die cuts but you could doodle, add gems, stamp on a new image or even die cut or hand cut smaller shapes out of your lackluster prints...there's always a way.
And yes, this isn't the card I wanted to make but in hindsight, knowing the journey this print went through, I am pretty thrilled with the outcome! What do you think of it?
Also, if you're new to the gel plate, does seeing this help?
