What started out as a hobby has turned into a Guinness World Records title for diehard Bearbricks fan Daniel Park (USA) @BrickChicago who amassed an incredible total of 3,482 pieces of merchandise from the popular collectable brand.
This March, the proud record holder – who goes by the name BrickChicago on social media – claimed the title for the largest collection of Bearbrick bears with his massive shelves of colourfully painted plastic figurines.
Five years ago, he started his journey with a single blind box reveal – and since that fateful day he has been carefully curating his home office into a figurative museum dedicated to the bears’ iconic silhouette.
