Record-breaking Venus flytrap!

The largest individual trapping leaf from a Venus flytrap is a specimen of the cultivar “GJ Montecore", which was verified to be 6.6 cm (2.59 in) across the mid-rib. It was grown in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA, by carnivorous plant enthusiast Jeremiah Harris.
