Hi-Intensity Damnation gameplay on Ascension Riser 31 using the Accatran Mk VIIa Recon Lasgun and Antax Mk V Combat Axe.
In this video I'm trying out the Accatran Mk VIIa Recon Lasgun following the base damage buff it recent in the recent Patch 11. This is the slower firing, stronger variant of the 3.
The weapon did feel much more viable, when shooting most enemies it no longer felt like shooting a water gun. However, when it comes to Maniacs, it still leads much to be desired. Mutants expecially, take a very long time to kill and there is almost no point in wasting your ammo trying too unless the team is focusing it as well. So maybe a small buff for its damage against Maniacs would give it the final push to be where it needs to be.
Overall though, I'm very happy it has been given some love as it was, in my opinion, very bad before. Let me know YOUR thoughts on the weapon following the buff in the comments. Do you agree it needs a minor buff against Maniacs? Or is it fine where it is now.
