Session Five: Recognizing My Personality
"God works through different people in different ways, but it is the same God who achieves his purpose through them all."
Discussion Questions
1. Wiring & Kingdom Purpose
How will discovering the way God wired your unique personality help you fulfill your Kingdom Purpose?
2. Ideal Serving Situation
Erik asked: "If you could choose the ideal situation to make the greatest difference for God, what would it look like?" Which recent life opportunities brought the greatest sense of fulfillment and purpose?
3. Right vs. Wrong Traits
Why do we tend to label certain personality traits as "wrong" or "right"? Had it occurred to you before this lesson that God has a divine use for your personality that he intentionally made you the way you are?
4. Intentional Design
What difference does it make to know God intentionally made you the way you are outgoing or reserved, self-expressive or self-controlled, cooperative or competitive? Others may prefer one trait, but God made all traits for his deliberate use.
5. Blessing the Group
How can our personalities bless others in our small group? Take a moment to affirm a characteristic in each group member.
