This Is What It Feels Like to Have a Panic Attack | Dr. Kritishree KMC Manipal Hospital 🧠
A panic attack can strike completely out of nowhere, causing an overwhelming wave of intense fear, dread, and physical distress that feels deeply terrifying. For many individuals, the sudden physiological onset is so severe that it is frequently mistaken for a life-threatening medical emergency like a cardiac heart attack.
In this special Sunday podcast episode, Dr. Kritishree, Consultant Psychiatrist at KMC Manipal, breaks down exactly what it feels like to have a panic attack. We decode the intense physical symptoms that happen when your nervous system's fight-or-flight response malfunctions, including a racing heart rate (palpitations), sudden chest pain, shortness of breath, hyperventilation, dizziness, hot flashes, or trembling and numbness in your hands. Discover the critical psychological indicators to track, such as a choking sensation or an intense feeling of losing control. Dr. Kritishree shares actionable, real-time grounding techniques and deep breathing exercises to stop an active panic attack safely, and explains when sudden anxiety patterns warrant professional treatment, clinical therapy, or psychiatric support.

According to the latest World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines, a normal sperm count is 39 million per ejaculate (or 16 million per ml). However, a high count alone doesnt guarantee pregnancy.
To successfully conceive, you also need to look at two critical factors:
Sperm Motility: Should be more than 42%
Sperm Morphology: Should be at least 4%
If your semen analysis meets these benchmarks, the chances of achieving pregnancy are significantly improved. Watch the full video to understand what these terms mean for your fertility journey!
