Everett & Shardinea Carter are former Jehovah’s Witnesses, one, a fourth generation and the other born in. For the past several years they have been working as online activists to help bring awareness to the group.

Waking up to the true realizations about the religion was a turbulent time for both individuals. They are most grateful to wake up to learn the truth and since 2018, they are spending their efforts to educate others about the dangers of the group.

Despite the efforts of members in the organization who tried to drive a wedge in their relationship, they managed to remain strong.
