For years, this section of my woodland was completely covered in wintercreeper (Euonymus fortunei). I tried spraying it. It browned out… and then it came right back.
In this video, I’m reclaiming part of my woodland by pulling wintercreeper by hand — before spring ephemerals emerge. Timing makes a huge difference, especially when the soil is soft and native plants haven’t broken dormancy yet.
