In response to The Vinyl Scavenger's recent very successful 'Red or Dead' thread, here are some red-spined records I've been spinning lately, along with some red-spined CDs and books. Along the way I'll be discussing some 'dear departed' artists (for the 'dead' bit of the thread), spotlighting a few truly irreplaceable, much missed, 'taken too soon' musicians.
