Rapper Real Boston Richey, has been arrested and denied bond after allegedly assaulting his pregnant ex-girlfriend, violating the terms of his federal pretrial release. The incident reportedly took place on March 30, 2025, in Houston, Texas, where the 28-year-old rapper is accused of choking 19-year-old Tatiana Chanell multiple times over the course of two hours, causing her to lose consciousness and vomit. She also claimed that Richey threatened her life if she involved law enforcement.
At the time of the alleged assault, Richey was already out on bond in connection with a separate federal drug conspiracy case. His unauthorized travel to Houston and the nature of the accusations were deemed violations of his release conditions. A federal judge ruled that Richey should be held without bond, citing concerns for public safety and his failure to comply with court-ordered terms.
