In this video, I review Shalom Sistas by Osheta Moore. It is available for purchase and was good enough for me to break book buying restrictions to pay my own money for.

And the big announcement: I am starting a book club to focus on books like this: books on social justice, advocacy, communicating outside the echo chambers and finding peace with yourself. We will start with Shalom Sistas and read that in November and December. From there on, we will decide on a new book and go from there. The group is private, but is not restricted by anything other than kindness. It is just closed so people can feel more open to vulnerability within the group.
