READING CHALLENGES:
1. “Continue watching” - Continue on with a book or series
2. “My list” - Read something from your TBR
3. “Trending now” - Read a hyped book
4. “Watch it again” - Re-read an old favourite
5. “New releases” - Read a 2021 release
6. “Available to download” - Read something in a digital format
7. “Because You Liked…” - Read a book recommended to you based on something you liked
CREATIVE CHALLENGES:
1. (Mon 13th Sept): Julie and the Phantoms - ‘Make a music video!’ We want you to show us your musical moves. Maybe you match a book to your favourite song, or pick books based on songs off an album. If it’s musical and bookish, then we want to see it!
2. (Tues 14th Sept): Nailed It - ‘Baking challenge’ Bake something bookish! Whether that’s a dish from a book, or something inspired by a book cover, we want to see it!
3. (Wed 15th Sept): Umbrella Academy - ‘Adopt 7 characters at random for your academy’ Pick 7 books at random, and then 7 random characters for your own Umbrella Academy. Do they work well together? Or is it just a recipe for disaster?
4. (Thurs 16th Sept): Shadow and Bone - ‘Add the Six of Crows crew to a different book, what chaos ensues?’ Maybe the Crows are there to help the Shadowhunters from losing the Mortal Instruments? Or maybe they are just there to steal the cup for themselves…
5. (Fri 17th Sept): Stranger Things - ‘Throwback challenge (choose a previous challenge from other BWCs)’ There have been plenty of other challenges during previous rounds of the BWC. Choose your favourite to do again!
6. (Sat 18th Sept): The Witcher - Give Geralt a quest’ We all know Geralt can handle any quest. Maybe you ask him to kill a dragon, or maybe you just need his help to find your favourite frying pan.
7. (Sun 19th Sept): Never Have I Ever - ‘Play the game’ Play a bookish version of Never Have I Ever!
