Darin Strauss reads from the 2011 National Book Critic's Circle Award-winning memoir Half a Life. Strauss is a recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, the American Library Association Award, and numerous other prizes. His books have been reviewed in the New York Times, Newsweek, Los Angeles Times, and Chicago Tribune, and featured on NPR’s Best Books of the Year. His work has been translated into fourteen languages and published in nineteen countries. Strauss is the Clinical Professor of Fiction at NYU's creative writing program.
