Joseph Elias is a senior aviator in the Aviation Management program at Jacksonville University. Growing up in Brazil, Lebanon, and West Africa, Joseph became passionate about travel at a young age. It was Jacksonville University’s pilot training and commercial partnerships, in addition to the undergraduate degree in aviation that attracted Joseph to the program. Professors have careers as airline captains, military officers, aviation executives, and more, and train students from day one in the state-of-the-art, on-campus, flight simulator. Graduates of this program also have a 100% employment rate in the field, and all graduates of the program are qualified for their restricted pilot airline license at 1000 flight hours. We’re one of the few schools in the Southeast that offer this certification, which means that our aviators get to move to the airline industry 500 flight hours earlier than many other schools!
