This is just me messing around trying to make waterproof paper for an upcoming book binding project I'm doing. It's long and slow and boring and I don't recommend you watch it. I start by testing various wood finishes on the paper and checking for water durability and gradually increasing coats of the finishes that perform well. in the end, two coats on each side of Rustoleum clear gloss yielded the best results. Stay tuned for a book binding video using this paper.
