With everyone splitting content out to secondary channels in an effort to not confuse the YouTube suggest system and their audiences, I say to hell with that, and let the YouTube algorithm be dammed!!! Here's a cooking video enjoy :)
Simple recipe for homemade Sour Mix.
Everywhere that I use lemons and limes in the video can be substituted with the bottled stuff, its not quite as good but vastly better than the store bought mix.
You will need:
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1.5 cups lemon juice (~9 lemons)
.75 cups lime juice. (~4 limes)
To begin juice and combine your lemons and limes.
Next we need to make simple syrup. Combine the sugar and water in a small pot over medium heat and stir until completely combined, if it starts to simmer reduce heat. This should yield ~1.5 cups of simple syrup.
Combine the simple syrup, lemon, and lime juice. Mix thoroughly and strain out any pulp.
Thats it! In a few minutes you've made a homemade sour mix that is infinitely better than that neon store bought junk. If you want to adjust the quantities ise this simple ratio: 2 parts simple syrup, 2 parts lemon, 1 part lime.
