The minor was arrested at his home in the Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie borough Friday morning on suspicion of planning to commit crimes related to violent extremism using artificial intelligence. The RCMP said the young man allegedly posted threatening messages to Telegram, targeting various groups including Muslims, Haitians and 2SLGBTQ+ communities.
