EV 30M vs. RCF JMIX8—10” vs. 12” woofer! Does the extra bass really matter?

The RCF JMIX8 has a 12” woofer that reaches lower frequencies than the EV 30M. But in a real-world test with piano, vocals, and guitar, the difference was surprisingly small at lower volumes. Unless you’re blasting DJ music for a big crowd, the Electro-Voice 30M still delivers plenty of bass.
