Here I recreate a moment from my childhood where I picked a wrong answer* in the final segment of "'Copter Candy", with zero lives left, but Rayman miraculously survived!
I was thankful for the glitch, but didn't understand it until years later when I saw this video: youtu.be/DetL1U5CVAA What happened was, my Ting count was 49, so collecting the fiftieth Ting gave me a new life, and cancelled the insta-kill effect of the red spiky ball!
I recreated the scenario by firing up the game, using the "[TAB] finishing" cheat to skip to the required level, and using the Dosbox debugger to modify the Ting and Life counts in memory.
* The answer is wrong because you're supposed to pick numbers where the units are strictly less than the tens, whereas I had picked 33 becuase 3 ≥ 3. Silly me!
