1. This one hardly counts as a trick. After getting the fourth lum in the Woods of Light, you can jump right up to the plaform across from the Globox babies. I think Unreal posted about this in 2008, but I didn't understand his post when I first read it.
2. A fast way to do the beginning of the Menhir Hills in a 100% run. First, I ricochet some shots off a wall to hit the switch. Then I run toward the walking shell until he sees me. Once he does, I go and destroy the cage. By the time I'm done, the walking shell is already waiting for me on the near side of the thorn field.
3. At the end of the second walking shell section of the Menhir Hills, you can skip some barrel flying by running off a ledge with the walking shell and jumping. You can then destroy the cage quickly by throwing a barrel at a wall. Afterward, you can use the infinite barrel flying glitch to reach the switch, as shown in my previous video.
4. Free Globox in the Canopy by ricocheting a shot off a wall. This skips the pirate fight and the "Rayman is the greatest" text.
5. Shoot a switch in Tomb of the Ancients from above. funkariela posted a video of this on the PC version a few years ago, but I could never get it to work on N64. I was messing around with it again today and I finally figured it out. Before you can shoot the switch, you need to register it as a target by getting close enough to it. You can do this by simply running around the platform above the switch, which you need to do anyway if you're getting the lums. After that, you can shoot the switch from above, so you don't need to go into the pit.
