Hey there folks!
A couple of weeks ago we got a message from one half of Winter Grain - the incredible Californian duo with whom we've become dear friends over the past year or two.
Kate was calling to request this song as a birthday surprise for Secily, and since we'd long since given up on the idea of being able to pull this one off, it was nice to get a chance to revisit it and see if our guitar skills had improved in the four years between then and now.
Late last year, Secily did the same for Kate by asking us to cover 'A Kiss To Build A Dream On', and even donated a beautiful chromatic harmonica to make it possible. It meant Mat could put in Louis Armstrong's iconic solo without having to take a couple of years off to learn the trumpet 😅
So here's our little tribute to one of Secily's favourite songs: 'Rather Be' by Clean Bandit!
