Like the movie’s plot, 🐭 Remy’s story also begins on the farm where the film starts. He sets out with his brother Emile to gather apple cores for their father, Django. During their journey, Remy learns essential skills, a classic tutorial level! After completing their task, the old woman who lives on the farm catches Remy and Emile, alerting the entire rat colony. Forced to flee, Remy escapes the woman’s shotgun only to be swept away by the rapids of the sewers. Though he survives by using Gusteau's 📖 cooking book as a platform. He wakes up in front of Gusteau’s restaurant, where a small ghostly vision of Gusteau guides him to the rooftop. From there, Remy watches as Linguini, the garbage boy, tries to fix a soup he accidentally ruined by throwing in random ingredients. Remy intervenes and corrects the soup, but Linguini spots him, leading to a chase outside.
Eventually, Remy teams up with Linguini and helps him with the tasks demanded by Skinner, the head chef. The next day, Remy assists Linguini in cooking for the restaurant’s customers while also reconnecting with his rat colony. However, Skinner soon discovers Remy, sparking another chase. Later, Remy aids his colony in stealing prized foods from the market.
Meanwhile, the infamous food critic Anton Ego—known as the "Grim Eater"—arrives at Gusteau’s for a crucial review. The kitchen staff abandon their posts after learning about the rat in their midst. With the restaurant’s reputation on the line, Remy, Linguini, and the chef Colette must step up to cook for the guests, including the critic Ego. 👨🍳
