Raspberry Pi in usb-otg mode with a Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera working as a plug-and-play Webcam. Not using the g_ether gadget or networking of any kind. When you plug it into a USB port on your PC, the Pi boots, enables the relevant USB-OTG drivers and runs a UVC gadget app which causes the Pi to appear as a UVC Camera to the PC.
