A couple weeks ago, this Ethiopian Airlines A350 paid a visit to Calgary, operating a charter flight bringing in refugees.
This flight started off in Uganda, did a technical stop in Rome, flew here, and then sat for about 19 hours for crew rest before heading back to Ethiopia.
Ethiopian Airlines is a super uncommon sight for us, and about two weeks after this visit, a second A350 showed up doing the same thing.
African airlines in general, aside from Egyptair last year, are exceptionally rare here, so I filmed bit of both visits and combined them into this. Enjoy the video!

Back on February 22nd, Porter flew their inaugural flight into Calgary, using their brand new Embraer E195-E2s. Right now, theyre flying between Calgary and Toronto twice a day, with more frequencies and destinations likely to follow.
Unfortunately, I was out of town for that inaugural flight, but wanted to share a few clips from this past week of YYCs newest airline in action. Enjoy!
