LDN Features proudly presents our live session with RaRa performing her track ‘Misbehaving’. This unfiltered and intimate performance offers the viewer a unique glimpse into RaRa’s powerful range, both as a performer and as a person.
RaRa is a UK-born singer, songwriter, and performer whose soulful, vintage-inspired sound captures the spirit of 1960s America while telling deeply personal stories rooted in her own life. Her journey began in Cheltenham, shaped by the iconic voices of Aretha Franklin, Dusty Springfield, Whitney Houston, and Mariah Carey. This passion led her across the globe—from performing in China and Abu Dhabi to fronting Dubai’s first rockabilly outfit, The Cherry Bomb Gang.
Returning to the UK, RaRa refined her songwriting voice, channelling the raw energy and edge of her soul heroes like Ronnie Spector, Tina Turner, and The Shangri-Las. Her self-titled debut album was co-written and produced with Nigel Lowis (Dina Carroll, Eternal) in Nashville, capturing a sound steeped in Southern gospel and soul traditions. The record also features collaborations with acclaimed producers John Fortis (Ellie Goulding), Paul O'Duffy (Amy Winehouse), Ant Whiting (John Newman), and James Reynolds (Dua Lipa, Paloma Faith). With honest lyrics exploring love, loss, and resilience in the music industry, RaRa’s work has already drawn attention for its timeless appeal.
