We have recently been working on Meyer's rapier (very much a type of sidesword) and coak. The techniques used are heavily based in that source, as well as including other rapier and cloak methods we have practiced in the past. Here the cloak is used (Nick in red) against an opponent with a single sword (Jordan in black) Bpth are using Malleus Martialis sideswords. The cloak is a a historically accurate casaque made by historical clothier Sally Green, being of heavy wool and cotton lined, and used here fully buttoned into a cape or cloak.
