Need for Speed games ranked from worst to best. At number four, we have need for Speed Payback. The setting in Open World of Las Vegas is really damn cool in this game, but the story was not good at all and it was incredibly cheesy. I also just wasn't a big fan of the handling. And just overall how the cars felt in this game wasn't really that good. They felt a little too stiff for my liking. The car roster is solid and everything, but overall it's a very forgettable game and I really never find myself going back to play it. And also the lack of police is definitely a big downside. At number three, we have need for Speed 2015. Graphically, the game looks absolutely incredible at night with all the different rain effects, and the setting of Los Angeles is really damn cool to drive around. But you can only play the game at night, so it gets old pretty quickly. And the car roster is relatively limited. I gotta say, I definitely like the story more than payback in this game. And honestly, the handling is pretty damn good too. At number two, we have need for Speed Unbound. I absolutely love the open world of Chicago. There's so many different cool places to go around. And graphically the game looks absolutely insane. And honestly, there is so much content to do in this game. The customization is great, the car roster is great. The story is pretty bad, I'm not gonna lie. But overall, the online game modes, there's just so much to do. They've updated the game constantly over the years, and nowadays it's really the ultimate need for Speed experience in the modern day. But coming at number one is need for Speed. Heat Miami is such a good setting and how you progress through the game is my favorite of any need for Speed game. Really just everything about this game is perfect. How you do the races at night to gain rep, and then the ones during the day to get money. And just overall, how you can play at night or daytime is a really big plus in my book. The story is actually pretty damn solid, even if it's a little bit short. The car roster is great, customization is great, the online play is great, the graphics are great.
