I think it’s fair to say that Halo 3’s amazing campaign was a fitting end to Bungie’s incredible Xbox trilogy.

While the final chapter in Master Chief’s story may start out perhaps a little slower than I personally would have liked, Halo 3’s second half is absolutely bananas and features some of the best missions not just in in its own campaign, but in the entire Halo series.

And that makes ranking Halo 3’s missions by quality a tricky proposition, as there’s quite a few missions with quite a few fantastic moments to think about, from the list of:

Sierra 117
Crow’s Nest
Tsavo Highway
The Storm
Floodgate
The Ark
The Covenant
Cortana
Halo
