Halo Reach’s campaign and the story of Noble Team is one quite unlike those you worked your way through with Master Chief during Halo: Combat Evolved, 2 and 3.
There is still the odd moment of triumph in Halo Reach here and there, but on the whole, the game is markedly different in tone to Bungie’s fabled Halo trilogy.
Where Chief’s adventures were about overcoming insurmountable odds, the story of Noble Six and company is one of despair, and no level in Reach exemplifies this better than its midway mission, Long Night of Solace.
