From Lo-Fi Resistance to The Fringe to McStine + Minnemann - among dozens of other projects and guest appearances - Randy McStine has been making waves in the rock and prog worlds since he was a teenager. Throughout his ever-changing roles as a solo artist, band member, and side man, McStine meets each project with his own innate curiosity, taste, and talent. While not achieving overnight breakthrough success, he has slowly been ascending his own harmony codex staircase while the list of his collaborators grows in depth and reputation. 

In this interview, we explore McStine’s three most recent ambitious endeavors: his impressive solo album “Mutual Hallucinations”, his third collaboration with musician and drummer extraordinaire Marco Minnemann, and his contributions to Steven Wilson’s celebrated new release “The Overview”.
