As indicated in the video, to get the maximum benefit from your selectors, you will ideally have a documented policy for their use and an action plan to cover what happens based on the findings of any search or check activity undertaken.
You should also make persons aware of the checking or search procedures that may be carried out on site – this is particularly important where staff may be subject to searching, etc.
