This week we are looking at Rampage on the Atari Lynx. I grew up with the 7800 version and Rampage World Tour on the Gameboy Color. And those bored me pretty quickly. Does this Lynx version have what it takes to add some much needed fun and variety to the iconic gameplay formula? Lets find out!
I score games on a five point scale and here is what the scores mean!
5 out of 5 is PERFECT! These are must own games!
4 out of 5 is Great! Most people will want to have these.
3 out of 5 is Good. Flawed games that are still enjoyable.
2 out of 5 is Bad. There is something holding these games back.
1 out of 5 is GARBAGE! Do not play these games for any reason...
I also occasionally look at hardware, controllers and the like and give those a score of recommended or not recommended.

If you want to sideload roms onto the unit it couldnt be easier. Get an ExFat formatted SD card, make a Games folder on the root, and start adding roms. Youll need the proper extensions, like A52 for Atari 5200, SFC for Super Nintendo, Etc but its easy as can be! Ive pasted the instructions I used and some links I used below!
From Google:
To add ROMs to your Gamestation Go, insert a micro SD card into the device and then transfer ROMs to the correct folders on the card using a computer. First, format the SD card to XFAT and create a folder named . Inside the folder, create subfolders for each gaming system (e.g., , , ) and copy your ROM files into their respective folders. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
This video shows how to format a microSD card and create folders for different systems:
Step 1: Prepare the micro SD card
• Purchase a compatible micro SD card (e.g., SanDisk, Kexen).
• Connect the micro SD card to your computer. You may need a USB-to-SD card converter.
• Format the card to XFAT. [1]
Step 2: Organize the folders
• Create a new folder named in the root directory of the SD card.
• Inside the folder, create a subfolder for each system you want to add games for (e.g., , , ). [1, 2]
Step 3: Add ROMs
• Locate your ROM files on your computer.
• Copy the ROM files into the corresponding system folder on the SD card.
• Safely eject the SD card from your computer. [1, 2, 6, 7, 8]
Step 4: Use the Gamestation Go
• Insert the micro SD card into the Gamestation Go.
• Turn on the console. It should detect the new games, which may appear in a separate menu or be integrated into the systems game list. [1, 10]
