I've been playing Towers 2 Enhanced Stargazer Edition for many, MANY hours this last month. Some of it has been live on stream, some of it has been behind the scene, but almost all of it has been documented. I have tons of hours of footage to prove it. And I have to say, I love Towers 2! But I'm a fan of old school First Person Action RPGs. Still, there have been some major down moments while experiencing this game.
Towers 2 Plight of the Stargazer was originally released for the Atari Falcon (ST line of computers) back in 1995. And in late 1996 the original hit the Atari Jaguar. It was created by JV Enterprises, and they did an excellent job with the Jaguar port at least.
And for many years you've been able to pick up that version at Songbird-productions.com . And you still can. But back in 2024, Songbird and JV Enterprises released an Enhanced Stargazer Edition that really improves the game a lot. And it really is so much more approachable. So this is the version I chose to play.
So lets see if it was an awesome (and only) Role Playing Game for the Atari Jaguar, or if its something that is too flawed to love...
